Suhas VSS finds his roots in Hyderabad, India’s foremost center of culture. Since childhood, Suhas was driven to narrate stories. Being a self-taught kid, he loved the art of explaining and teaching in the simplest yet creative ways. He mentions the old days when he used to write small horror stories and shoot them on a 2MP camera. He believes in optimally utilizing the tools in the most efficient ways where the output doesn’t seem restricted to the capacities of the tools.

Suhas later pursued Bio-medical engineering and landed a job in the biggest super-specialties hospital chains in the country. That’s when he realized he didn’t wish to see his day start and end by finger-print punching machines but rather be involved in the art of storytelling. He understood he wishes to be involved in the process of creation by thinking artistically. He wished to be a storyteller behind the camera and that’s why he joined India’s premier film and television school Mindscreen Film Institute to study cinematography.

Suhas eloquently explains how a film is masterfully woven together through the collaboration of 24 different crafts, evoking a range of emotions within the audience. It is a highly challenging art form that allows for limitless exploration of possibilities. With the mere alteration of a single element, a director can steer the narrative onto an entirely different path, shifting the mood and forging a distinct decision tree.

With a strong command over story writing, direction, and cinematography, Suhas possesses a unique and comprehensive skill set that enables him to narrate stories with unparalleled creativity. His independent film, "Vaaradhi," delivers a powerful message to the viewers, urging them to raise their voices for positive societal change.
